Can i add my own fields for a user profile

Question

The example code just shows address, pH numbers etc., can I add my own fields to the user profile. If I can then do I just add the field or do I need to initialise it in some way. If I can't do that then I assume the way to add user settings is to save it in a jsondoc.

Yes, you can add your own fileds along with user creation through API. Please have a look at this link for the code snippet. 

P.S Information which you going to add in JSON Object (in key/value pair) is going to store in App42 No-SQL database. If you want to find these details along with get user method than please use this code snippet.
