Could not connect to AppWarp API

Question

Hello!

Yesterday i've tried out your example chat application with appwarp js sdk v1.6 and it worked fine both locally and deployed on vps.

Today, i'm trying some decoding stuff related to this my issue http://forum.shephertz.com/?qa=970/non-english-characters-in-user-names-and-chats&show=971#a971
and noticed, that after entering name (even in normal EN chars) i can't connect to appwarp api - "Please wait!" sign lasts forever (both locally and vps).

What i've tried - restarting application from AppHQ dashboard, creating new app and using new keys, result is the same. Asked friends to try from other location - same problem.

No js errors in console, different browsers used etc, nothing.

Please verify your keys. Our hosted version  is working fine.You can check it out.

Joining with name in english chars works fine on the hosted version for me.

Also got a trouble with your version, but now its "Connection error".
Ubuntu 12.04х64, latest Chrome, latest FF.

"GET http://control.appwarp.shephertz.com/lookup [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 407ms]

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at ws://54.248.235.107:12346/. appwarp.min.js:1"

Same goes for my friends from other office using win7.
Yesterday it was working for me from home, also from Ubuntu.

Could it be related to some corporate firewall restrictions? Maybe some not default ports used to connect to appwarp of whatever?

If yes, how can i investigate it?

Okay, looks like i've figured out the problem: according to this site
http://www.websocket.org/echo.html
i can connect to "ws://echo.websocket.org" fine, but connecting to your API ip fails for me "ws://54.248.235.107:12346" - "ERROR: undefined
DISCONNECTED"

Gonna poke my corporate system administrators, thanks for quick answers, guys.

Sorry, one more thing:
is it able to reconfigure the default port for your api somehow? I'm worried that if even i cant connect to your services from the office with very low level firewall restrictions, then a lot of my users will have the same problem :(
