Username length and restrictions

Hi all

I am using both app42 and appwarp. User register to my game with app42 user service and with same username I connect appwarp. As far as I know, only username restriction with appwarp is it should be less than 48 and it should not contain , ; \ /

I wonder are there any other restrictions from app42 side? Can I use other special characters like "@ & % etc"? I ask because in a forum I saw that shephertz developer says that avoid using special characters but it is not documented. So what should be my username policy?

Hi Gokan,

AppWarp has restriction on length of userName.But App42 hasn't.

Currently there is no validation of special character uses in UserName, But we would like to suggest to avoid special character uses.

Thanks for your answer. My last question can I use lets say chinese characters in usernames or [A-Z,a-z,0-9]? Should I allow it?
