Email Send success but not receive

Question

step 1: I CreateMailConfiguration("smtp.gmail.com", 465, "abc@gmail.com", "1234", true, callBack)

step2: success create step 1, then move to app42 console, add email templete.

step 3: try to sendmail ("123@hotmail.com", "event10", "THanks", "abc@gmail.com", EmailMIME.HTML_TEXT_MIME_TYPE, callBack)

question: i send the mail success, but fail to receive the email. anyidea? which step i missing?

In addition, my reset password also dint receive the email about the new password after create mail configuration.
When i delete all the email configuration account i can receive a email with new password.

Other than that, what is email host, email id?

Is my email problem, or i havent setup my email in app42 console before i create configuration?
