Android Time till room expires/last message time?

Question

Hi, I am trying to make an image fade away evenly over an hour once the room has gone static. If I'm not mistaken rooms created in App take an hour to get automatically deleted if no one is using it. I would like to know if it's possible to work out the time till it deletes and fade my image accordingly? I thought this would be possible via either a function that explicitly does that which I do not know about or a time of the last message sent. Of course if a message is sent in the room the image will return fully and be completely opaque.

You have an image fader that will run for 1 hour?

There is no query api which would tell you how much time to go till the room gets cleaned up.
