RummyDemo client not connecting user using ConnectWithUserName()

Question

Hi,

I have downloaded Rummy Card app from url : http://www.shephertz.com/downloads/download-onpremwarp.php

I have changed APPKey and host key. But When i'm running app from eclipse and click Play game button OR connect with Fb button it's giving Connection Fail error with error code 5.

Any needful help will be appreciated.

Will you please share the steps that you follows to run the AppWarpS2 Server code on your local machine.

Also share the deatils how you connecting to device with the local server like using public Ip or else.

Let me know the details so that we can trace and solve the problem exactly you are facing.

Ans : We have downloaded CHAT SERVER demo app from URL: http://www.shephertz.com/downloads/download-onpremwarp.php and then from command window we have implemented steps from this url: http://appwarps2.shephertz.com/dev-center/
And using "windows_start.bat" command in terminal we have started AppWarps2 server and then logged into url: http://appwarps2.shephertz.com/AdminDashboard/#/ and then created app and room. And then changed APPKEY in index.html file. And it was working fine in 2 different browsers. But to run this app in android we have downloaded Rummy Card app from http://www.shephertz.com/downloads/download-onpremwarp.php and imported it in eclipse and changed App KEY and local host(127.0.0.1) in Constant.java but when we are running app in emulator as well as device it's giving error while connecting user using ConnectWithUserName(). Error is ConnectionFailed and error code is 5.

Chat Server is not belongs to the Rummy App on which you are testing your Code.So thats the reason you are not find any RummyZoneExtension file.You need to run the same server for that.

No Sample also contains server side Code like the Chat server you need to run as Java application.You can run the same on local machine as did in ChatServer and can connect the Rummy App.
