Hello!,

I want to thank Priyanka Singh and App42 Team for the quick reply. The actual reason for my 'peer not authenticated' exception is 'Java version'. I have changed the java version from 'Java 1.6' to 'Java 1.9' and now my problem is solved :)

Answered: Logging storage size

Hi,

There is no limit on Log Storage and it gets counted along with the total storage you consume on App42 Cloud. If you exceed the limit on your Storage then your account manager at ShepHertz will contact you for the actions needed to be taken.

Only admin of the app can delete the logs from the AppHQ Management console.

Hi Kan,

There is no option to delete the apps from AppHQ. If any app you are not using then billing not be done for that app. Could you please let me know if there is any specific reason for deleting that app other than pricing concerns? It will help us to provide better support from our side.

In the Get Top N Rankers By Date API of Leaderboard Service, the data which we will get returned will not be in real time, there will be the lag of few hours. It has been mentioned in our documentation of the Get Top N Rankers By Date API. Might be due to this reason issue get happened please check and let us know if the issue still continues.

You can use the Saving Additional Data along with Score API , this will help you to save the additional data along with the user score in JSON format. Additional data storage uses the Storage Service internally and when you fetch it, it goes to Storage Service again. We have this functionality in getTopNRankings and other get methods(except GetAverageScore)in leaderboard service which internally depends on the storage service to fetch additional info, It will help you to fetch the Top N Rankings from the leaderboard.

Also, you can directly fetch this additional info from the storage service using this link.

Hi Gal,

Apologies for getting late back to you.

It is only because of null values stored in JSON document. It's NoSQL DB and it works in a different way compared to RDBMS. the document {"age":21,"name":"john Doe"} is same as {"age":21,"name":"john Doe";"address":null}. We will suggest you instead of storing the key's as null better to not store the key at all this improves the performance of your reads/updates against the DB.

Android API version on which you are building the Android application.
Details about any third party jar file like org.apache.http.legacy.boot.jar, that may contains the same class is same package.
build.gradle file.

Hi Himanshu,

The problem has been occurring since a few day ago. Also I downloaded sample custom code from github link, and after editing keys upload it to AppHQ. Problem still exists with the error 'somethin went wrong'.

The only time I dont receive the problem is on a few oldest custom codes which may be created by java 1.6. Maybe java sdk version related to this? Also keep in mind that I am using latest Intellij IDEA to package jar.

This problem has downside effect on the application, so could you please take a look at it urgently? thanks

Please use the below code snippet in place of App42.setLoggedInUser(userName), it will set the owner of the document for you:

Renaming already created collection is not possible as of now. You have to delete the collection first and save with the new name. You ca write a script which will export all the data of your above collection into latest one which you want to create.

It seems you are not attaching the other meta headers with the request. Because i can not find the following code in the code you have shared.

userService.setOtherMetaHeaders(otherMetaHeaders);

Could you please elaborate your use case in details of saving date along with JSON document because when you insert any document in App42 database, we automatically return document creation date in response which you can use for sorting and fetching the documents. How you can find document based on creation date? You just need to build a query which contains key as _$createdAt and value as an a time in UTC (2016-02-27T05:36:27.254Z) format from which you want to fetch the records.

Get All game function will only return 100 records in one go, but if you have to find more then 100 records then you have to call pagin method. Using getAllGamesByPagin method, you can find records in chunk of 100.
